Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you need to clean up your mess quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also easy to use using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're up to.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combination that has cutting-edge features consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that comes with a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to adjust the cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, such as docks that connects to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without needing to refill the mop. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than other models.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.

It's worth noting that the mapping process can take quite a while, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. In addition, object detection can be unpredictable and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to turn its back to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just being swept. And  robot vacuum cleaner reviews  is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.

This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens recirculating. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously dosed with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and didn't always remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also quite high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.

As with most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with an established schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers and vacuums available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be a major problem with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also includes smart carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them with.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office clean. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home, so it knows what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.

It also comes with other notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a great choice. It has a range of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to move between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick knots in the rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we test.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that offers powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces well. It's also excellent at removing pet hair from carpeting.

It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not linked to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
